Gary Jerome Torre (October 14, 1913, Oakland, California - January 19, 2013, California) was a graduate of UC Berkeley law
school who became a labor and tax attorney. He also served as a member of the Sierra Club Foundation Board of Trustees from
1969 to 1980 and 1994 to 1997. He was president of the Sierra Club from 1978 to 1980.
